Performed installation and testing of the implementation of Enhanced Security

function on lab systems for the roll out to the many Food Lion stores.

Enhanced Security features were necessary to meet/exceed PCI compliance

requirements on credit, debit and EBT card transactions. Developed/executed

test cases that evaluated the changes to the systems and verified newly defined

function. Evaluated and diagnosed problems with tools used in the

implementation and provided corrective actions that resolved the issues.

Developed and created test cases for the conversion to the usage of Secure FTP

in place of FTP. SFTP also included verification of the function of Secure

Shell (SSH) because it was required as a function of the Enhanced Security

upgrade also. Performed testing of SFTP and SSH function with differing

clients to verify functionality of secure servers.

Re-imaged all the servers and workstations in the test lab to the latest

supported versions of Windows Server and Windows XP Professional.

Staff Applications Engineer

Provided email and telephone support for AMCC PowerPC SOC(System on Chip) with

a concentration on the security engine. Developed an application in C to

verify NIST security certifications. Newly Implemented security hardware

supported multiple FIPS encryption protocols and required validation to verify

that it met NIST standards.

Installed and maintained multiple Linux systems as build/test environments to

support SOC evaluation kits. Provided system administration function for the
