Began career with this company as a part time activities coordinator for a retirement community. Tasks included scheduling, planning and holding of all social events including large formal parties with live entertainment for up to 250 persons. Within a year I was promoted to assistant administrator and responsible for day to day operations including rent collection, ordering supplies for community and restaurant and all required reporting including month end. Within 2 years of being hired I was assigned to manage a 96 unit multi family community and responsible for ALL aspects of running the community. I hired, trained, supervised employees, achieved 100% occupancy for 3 months.

10/1992 - 6/1995 Self Employed Port Huron, MI Social Worker

Contract employee for the State of Michigan. I was responsible for working with clients in their homes and taught parenting/household management to clients who were in danger of or had their children removed from the home. Worked closely with Probate(Family) Court and often made recommendations regarding placement of children. My goal was to reunite families when possible and identify parents who were inept and terminate their parental rights. This position was very intense hands on.
