Owner / Operator - Girls against Gangs Organization

October 2010- Current

Currently strictly volunteer, state cut the funding from their budget-1 night a week now. My Job required me to canvas different communities in Richland County to recruit young girls that were headed down the wrong path. I had to speak with parents, teachers, and church members in order to reach these young ladies. I am responsible for mentoring and coaching at risk girls. My organization is a ministry within the Southeast community church; therefore we meet weekly to discuss open ended conversations. I facilitate a 10 week curriculum that is design to transform girls in the right direction.

April 2010 – September 2010

I was responsible for collecting data that was missing in the Census database. The job required me to go out in the communities of Richland County and collect data from residents to complete the 2010 census questionnaires. At times the job demand further research if the properties were no listed on the census map. At this point I would have to check third parties like postal services, mortgage companies and landlords. I was a field recruiter; my duties consist of contract bidding. I was responsible for researching government contracts on an online database and bidding on them. My position also consisted of meeting with the customer face to face and selling the companies services. (Company Closed)

I was a machine operator who was responsible for pulling latex gloves from the mold. I would stand and pull for 45 minutes and the other 15 minutes of the hour was for packing the products before transferring them to quality. (Company moved to Thailand)

September 2002- Jan 2003

My job consisted of me sitting on an assembly line adding parts to an amplifier. I was promoted to a temporary quality position through express personnel. In quality, my job required me to re-work any errors made to the product during production, as well as, inspects the products by Bose guidelines and blue prints.
