As a leader of Information Technology, I was responsible for the operation and maintenance of HUMC’s hospital-wide information systems, network and all departmental computer-based information systems. I implemented cutting edge technologies and provided technical support during all phases of system development.

• Responsible for annual operational budget and planning.

• Established and maintained standards for systems selection (technical requirements); testing of network related software and hardware, procurement and deployment of hardware and the development of operational procedures.
• Developed and implemented HUMC’s disaster recovery solution with regulatory review and testing.
• Implemented VMWare to establish hardware cost effectiveness while building redundancies for over 650 Windows servers.
• Managed the network engineering group which supported the campus wide Cisco LAN/WAN network of over 5,000 endpoints.
