My job profile as a Patent Attorney involves filing, drafting and prosecuting various patent applications related to inventions in the field of Computers, Electronics, Electrical and Mechanical. Analyzing and ensuring the compliance of the invention to qualify for a patent protection as per the Patents Act and rules of Indian Patent Office. Prior to filing the patent for the invention, advising the customers beforehand on patentability issues and suggesting amendments which could make the invention patentable at the Indian Patent Office.

Thereafter, applying for patents to the Indian Intellectual Property Office and replying to office actions for various patent applications. Advising the customers on various amendments which could be made to the claims to attain patent protection. Attending oral hearings at the Patent Office for justifying the patentability of the invention and obtaining a Letters Patent Document for the invention.
