In Service Dept. analyzing the viability and risks for generating a proposal especially in Migrations from old Yokogawa equipments such as YEWPACK (Mark series), Micro XL (basis BASIC), Centum XL (basis UNIX) and Centum CS (basis UNIX) or different DCS brands to Centum CS3000 or CentumVP, explaining to the customer the possible options, cost, time and advantages or disadvantages according to models and brands’ installation times and creating the best possible proposal according the customer requirements. Controlling the technical part of projects assisting the project manager in the economical limits, supervising the request of the proper equipment and materials in real time.
Generating basic engineering, correcting drawings, being involved in the assembly of the equipments and cabinets according to drawings, reviewing detailed engineering, supervising and reviewing applications according to customer specifications and control requirements. Supervising the IFHT (internal factory hardware test), supervising with the customer the FAT (factory assembly test), tailoring hardware and software test protocols, supporting the customer in application and graphics review, supervising field installation and interconnection with field, supporting SAT (site acceptance test) and supplying resources for commissioning.
