Organisational Experience

Since 9 June 09- with Rasandik engineering industries ltd- is the largest manufacturing unit of sheet metal components- tailor welded blanks, engineering solution, press tools & dies, jigs & fixtures, fuel tanks of cars, light vehicles, tractors , motor cycles for O.E.Ms like maruti Suzuki, Tata motors, Honda ,general motors, FIAT, TVS, Swaraj Mazda for the last two decade.

Leading a team of 22 engineers & 490 workmen & supervising the production activities comprising special purpose welding & machining.

Coordinated with various departments such as PPC, Stores, Manufacturing & Plant Engineering & was an active part of the TQM Forum – Mysore Zone.

Supervised function such as CNC welding/machning, ROBOTIC welding, welding automation, Failure analysis, welding NDT, DT, SQC methods,-Exposure to GPM & SPM machining centres.

Monitored new product development for US market which was the first overseas development where the supplies were made to the major player Meritor – USA.

Actively involved in the development of major products such as Axles for Volvo India Ltd., Ashok Leyland, Telco, Mahindra & Mahindra, Daimler Benz, & for Meritor.

Successfully handled process documentation of the newly developed axles such as preparing Process Flow development, Manufacturing Guidelines, Control plans, Process FMEA, Process work instruction & training.
