Engineering Project
Project Title : “Take-off and landing of an aircraft using MAGLEV”
Description : Deals with the latest development that exists in superfast trains and to propose that in the field of aviation. In existing method, Aircraft requires more rolling distance which has to be reduced to avoid over cost.
By MAGLEV principle, it will reduce the size of the warship to 30-40%, normally commercial aircraft used about 15% of fuel for take-off and landing, here current plays a major source for take-off and landing which makes mission cheaper than fuels. In this method varying the intensity of the current given to the electromagnet is used to increase and decrease the velocity of the aircraft in a small rolling distance.
Advantage : Capability to achieve a speed of 600miles in 10 seconds and overall cost for take-off and landing aircraft is reduced.
