PG Thesis/Projects Undertaken

M. Pharm PG thesis “Design and Development of Fast Release Formulation of Fenofibrate using Fluidized Bed Processing Technology” under the supervision of Dr. T. R. Saini, Professor, SGSITS, Indore.

The project was aimed to improve the dissolution profile of fenofibrate (a poorly soluble drug). Fluidized Bed Processing Technology was employed to develop fast release tablet formulation.

Study of Pharma Patent Cases

This project was aimed to study major pharmaceutical patent cases.

Stability Indicating Assay Methods

This project was aimed to understand different SIAMs for submitting to the university during B. pharm course.

Trainings and Industrial Visits

Received industrial training at Matrix Laboratories Ltd., Nasik (M.H.) from date 1 july 2008 to date 31 July 2008. At this training, I learnt about the manufacturing process of tablets, capsules, tablet coating, packaging of tablet dosage form. Manufacturing equipments including double rotary Tablet compression machine (Sejong/CadMach), Capsule filling machine, Tablet coating machine, Roller Compactor, Direct Compression Tablet Machine, Automated Tablet packaging machines (Strip/Blister/Bottle). Analytical instruments including HPLC, GC, Automated Karl Fisher titrator,

3 Days industrial visit at Zest Pharma, Industrial area, Sanwer Road, Indore (M.P.) from 08 Feb 2006 to 10 Feb 2006.
