Research on the Pinyon Pin trees on the Los Pinos Mountains
The Purpose of my research was to see if there was a correlations between growth and age in piñon trees.
Measured the height of the trees and there diameter root crown
Collected tree cores and counted the tree rings.
The Purpose of the research was to see if there was a correlations between growth and age in piñon trees.
Investigated to see how the sites characteristics and geomorphology of the area might have influenced the trees growth.
Volunteer experience I volunteered at a Dr. Azalia Martinez office in El Paso, TX where I brought the patients there snacks and coffee. I also restocked the medicine and switched and turned off IVs and switched IV bags. I did this in 2006, 2008 for the summer
Social activities at school/ church I helped run a Halloween booth and food drive in 2008-2009.
activities I was also a part of the Mayor top 100 teens 2008-2009,Lead America in 2006, I am in the geology club at UTEP, and I am also in the society of economic geology at UTEP .
