• Door Hardware: Assisted in developing a door hardware specification that met all of the functional and aesthetic requirements for an assisted living community.
• Lighting Coordination: Coordinated the lighting design on a 27 story high rise CCRC.
• Document Review: Reviewed the entire set of drawings for coordination and completion of a skilled nursing addition to an existing assisted living community.
• Building Permit: Assisted in obtaining a building permit from the city of Roswell, GA’s Engineering Department and Fire Marshall’s Office for a 75,000 S.F. assisted living community.
• Food Service Permit: Obtained a food service permit from the Fulton County, GA and DeKalb County, GA Health Departments for a commercial kitchen within an assisted living community.
• Code Analysis: Developed a report based upon research of all applicable codes for a 90,000 S.F. assisted living community in DeKalb County, GA.
Personal:
• Experience using MS Word for meeting minutes and observation reports.
• Experience using MS Excel for RFI logs, submittal logs, and code analysis.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, capable in Sketch Up and Photoshop.
• Currently taking part in the ACE Mentoring program to introduce high school students to careers in the architecture, construction, and engineering fields.
