Had complete authority and responsibility for the budgeting and P&L performance of this location for five years. Directed and assisted in the construction improvements (Equipment installations, electrical, plant layout), designed and manufactured assembly areas, and purchased raw materials. Managed recruitment, hiring, and training of all production and support personnel.
Converted empty warehouse into fully-functioning manufacturing facility in 45 calendar days.
Applied industrial engineering skills in designing the entire manufacturing and warehousing.

Start up was done in a 1,025,000-sq.-ft.-building had been used by Burlington Carpet. Helped in overseeing gutting everything including the floors, underground water pipes and electric.
Conducted hearing meetings and worked with utility companies and contractors. Hired and supervised four crews that worked around the clock.
Coordinated travel and drivers for new personnel commuting 300 miles to training facility for 10-week period. Laid out the floor plan and supervised the installation of all machinery.
Purchased and negotiated all contracts for equipment purchased.
Built and stocked supply room from ground up. Interviewed and screened supplier in region for quality and best pricing. Built-up dye inventory from scratch.
