Method Development Specialist, March 2010 – Present

• Developed an amphetamine extraction and method which reduced the run time from 17 minutes to three minutes per sample and eliminated the generation of halogenated waste.

• Programmed a method to automate pipetting and perform the correct dilution factor based on the screening result from the LIMS system

• Optimized 6 other assays’ extraction and instrument method reducing reagent costs and shortening the run time per sample by at least 30 percent.

• Developed one of the first methods in the country to detect metabolites of JWH 018 and 073 in urine.

• Developed an extraction and analytical method to test for 8 classes of drugs in saliva.
