Market research for Kids wear- Gained knowledge about the market trends and the designed garments for best suited target clients.
Children Wear- Designed a garment for kids keeping in mind the functionality, comfort and safety norms for kids.
Men’s Wear- Designed a range for Dastkar, Ranthambore.
Sport’s Wear- Designed a range for Golf wear
Creative Textiles- Worked on all kinds of embroidery, block printing, tie & dye, quilting, patchwork, appliqué etc
Merchandising - Learned various departments under an export house and their function. Planning the steps of production, from sampling to costing of the garments.
Marketing - Marketing project on the establishment of high-end design label in India and made a complete marketing report on a product. Learned marketing a product to designing a store layout for the targeted market area.
Accessory Design- Studied about various accessory, made a portfoilio designing different accessory according to the client brief.
Women’s Evening wear – Designed an evening gown for women keeping in mind the aspects of the theme and Design brief .
Entrepreneurship Development process– Developing a business plan which includes independent research and relevant exploration of the chosen field, identification of market opportunity, study of the competition and clear understanding of the business planning process.
Production- Process of production- various steps involved for production of a garment. Learned about kinds of machinery and tools used. Visited Banglore and Tirpur to study production and its various departments in an export house.
