Welcome guests and assigned guest rooms.

Check identification and credit cards of all registered guests.

Posts and compile guest charges, responsible for proper processing of charges.

Check guests out on departure.

Make necessary changes and answer any questions as required.

Counting the cash drawer upon start and end of shift.

Check Front Desk Log Book for any special requests, problems, etc.

Update Credit Exemption Report daily and notify guests if additional monies or credit approvals are required or if any problems arise.

Check reservations against in-house guests for duplication.

Maintain regular contact with the Housekeeping Office by communicating the status of the rooms.

Explain in-room and hotel features, key operation, places of interest, etc.,to arriving guests.

Complete all required shift paperwork and reports accurately and completely.

Complete all end of shift closing procedures and ensure that the cash drop is completed.

Maintain a clean and organized Front Desk at all times.

Recording and making all guest wake-up calls properly, as well

as courtesy/welcome calls to newly arrived guests.

Answering the switchboard in a timely and courteoly manner and transferring calls to the appropriate department or guest.
