EMPLOYMENT HISTORY

Environmental Scientist, AMEC Earth & Environmental, Somerset, NJ, Feb. 2007 to Feb. 2011

Responsible for managing various environmental programs within the company.

• Appointed by management to be the AMEC Sustainability Coordinator and successfully held the position from 2008-2011. During this period implemented various activities including, food drives, clothing drives and volunteering that helped reduce the office carbon footprint to the environment.

• Managed oversight and conducted the technical review of Final RI/FS Workplan, QAPP, FSP, and HSP; Draft and Final Risk Assessment (HHRA/ERA) Reports; Draft Community Involvement Plan; and Draft Site Characterization Summary Reports (including all tables and figures for monitoring wells, deep and intermediate groundwater and soil data) for the White Swan Cleaners/Sun Cleaners Superfund Site. Reports and results were submitted to all Federal, State, County, and Local officials for them to make future environmental decisions.

• Conducted an analytical database technical review on Membrane Interface Probe (MIP) data, groundwater data, and soil data. The MIP data was created into a voxler database format and an EQuiS database format that was used by clients for determining areas of contamination and to take corrective action as required. Completed Membrane Interphase Probe (MIP) data preparation for gINT. Prepared numerous reports on the results identified in the field studies to determine remediation to be conducted on the site.

• Created a spreadsheet of precipitation data and pressure data for Sea Girt and Manasquan locations in order to get details of local groundwater flow. This data was included in a table format in a report submitted to the client for their review and action.

• Downloaded Regional groundwater data from the subcontractor’s website to determine depths and locations of groundwater contamination.

• Compiled and organized photo documentation taken on the White Swan project site from 2007 to 2010 which was used in a Remedial Investigation Report.

• Conducted field work studies including surface water and sediment coordination, passive soil vapor sampling retrievals, and indoor/outdoor air monitoring for the detection of benzene, trichloroethylene (TCE) and tetrachloroethylene (PCE). The results of the fieldwork were presented in reports and submitted to the client for their use.

• Represented AMEC at the Globalcon Energy Conference, Atlantic City, NJ – April 1, 2009;

NJDEP Stakeholder Meetings held in Trenton for the discussions of the Draft Global Warming Response Act Recommendation Report dated December 15, 2008; and at the New Jersey Clean Energy Conference, Jersey City, NJ – October 17, 2008.

Work associated with this DOE contract involved technical review, site surveys, purchase order requests for vendors and subcontractors, and compliance with state and federal procurement requirements.
