I graduated high school on June 23, 2010 from the Academy of Information Technology & Engineering magnet high school

I am now enrolled at Norwalk Community College

Experience

I worked at the library at Norwalk Community College in 2006 through the Mayor’s Summer Youth Program

I worked at the Youth Business Center converting Cd’s, DVD’s records, and VHS

I worked at Talbots in New Canaan for four months as a sales associate

I regularly clean the store bathrooms, fitting rooms, and main floor

I am the secretary of DCF’s Youth Leadership Board

I know how to operate the cash register

Achievements

I earned a science award from my Medical Anthropology teacher

I earned a social service award in the years of 2008 and 2010

I fundraised enough money to go to China school during the 2009-2010 school year; the trip was $2,300

Volunteer Experience

I volunteer at the Bridgeport Library on 925 Broad Street

As a member of the Youth Leadership Board, I spread awareness to foster care youth about their rights in foster care
