RECENT PROFESSIONAL PROFILE:

Since June 2008 have been helping out with my elderly parents who have had many health issues, taking various odd jobs and working in the pizza industry as a delivery driver for Papa Johns, Pizza Hut, La Raza Pizza in Alamogordo, New Mexico July 2009-present. My father passed away in January, currently helping out with my 88 year old mother who is visually challenged.

Have been a certified Directv Satellite Salesman/Installer for several years, sales and customer service part time. I work with many satellite companies selling and installing, Dish Network,HughesNet,Wild Blue, Sirius, depends on situation, Independent Rep for American Satellite Company.

Papa John's Pizza-Delivery Driver and all inside cook, prep, cleaning and some management, 6-2008 thru 6-2009, went to work from the new Pizza Hut before grand opening in Alamogordo, returned p/t to Papa John's June 2010.

New Mexico Sales Supervisor for Baja Broadband August 2007. Hired, trained, motivated new local sales team in Alamogordo, Ruidoso, Truth or Consequences and basically southern part of New Mexico. 8-2007 thru 6-2008

Licensed Colorado Real Estate Broker Associate since 1992 working for Coldwell Banker and Frontier Better Homes and Gardens. Sold over 200 properties in about a 14 year period, awarded Top Sales and Top Producer many times in an office of over 100 licensed Realtors. 1992-2005.

1988-1993-At Dynamac Computer Products was Director of Marketing and Sales for 2 years before the company dissolved due to tech problems. Was responsible for marketing and telesales of the first portable Macintosh 2 years before Apple created the first portable Macintosh. Attended and produced sales booth at many MacWorld, MacUser, and Comdex trade shows.

1982-1988-Sales, Customer Service and Marketing for Colorado Woodstoves/New Energy Systems. Sold and marketed alternative energy products and the hot commodity in Colorado Woodstoves and high-efficiency fireplaces.

Education

Bachelor of Science in Business Communications (136 semester units completed) from Lubbock Christian University-Lubbock, Texas 1982. Have taken many other training courses and seminars since that time in computers, business, management, marketing and people motivation. Jones Real Estate College-completed education requirements for Colorado RE exam 1993-94. Further education classes from RETC for Broker Associate Requirements. Have taken & interested in taking many more courses for computers, internet marketing, web design, television production, and real estate/mortgage continuing education. Have also taken several restaurant/hospitality management courses for several companies.

Completed an Internship in Public Relations at Community Hospital of Lubbock. Gained experience during the 100 hours of field work in newsletter production, news releases commercial scripts and copy writing. At Community Hospital, assisted in production of commercials for emergency walk-in clinics. Was also involved in creating press releases, advertising and design, copywriting, proofing, and investigative research. I have also made many successful public speeches, and enjoy giving ad-lib pep talks.

Have completed certification classes for Independent Television Production from Denver Community Television and pre-producing my first television show on Colorado history and developing other film productions.

OTHER ASSETS, INTERESTS AND PERSONAL STRENGTHS

I am considered to be a fast learner and enjoy being busy with many varied projects. Computer literate and understand basic POS systems.. Familiar with Windows and Macintosh platforms. Experience with WORD, OFFICE, EXCEL,PowerPoint and other programs including web design programs, FRONT PAGE and Web Wizard. Have designed many visually appealing websites for real estate clients and personal sites for my own company Eureka Web Design & Graphics. Ability to interact and communicate effectively with people of diverse cultural backgrounds. I have with strong interpersonal, negotiation, organizational and time management skills. A true multi-tasker. Always willing to adapt to many varied management and people styles.
