Operations Manager/ Program Manager Feb 11 – Jul 2012

As operations manager for The Corvus Group, I cooperatively manage operation of various services related to capital markets, receivership and advisory services solutions supporting more than $50 billion in federal asset transactions for such agencies as the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), the Resolution Trust Corporation (RTC) and the U.S. departments of Veterans Affairs (VA), Housing and Urban Development (HUD), Agriculture, Coast Guard and Small Business Administration (SBA).

Resolved budget discrepancies and updated project status for upper management, this includes the up-front process of estimating, ordering, and assigning work to meet customer required service dates.

• Successfully complete issuance of Telephone Equipment Orders for the installation of the Point of Presence for Managed Enterprise VoIP Service Soft switch for the Mid-Atlantic region.

• Developed and designed system architecture and network topology

• Manage meetings and collaborate with vendors to resolve any issues associated with the Fiber to the Premises (FTTP) project. Provide weekly status, track material delivery and communicate with various vendors to ensure timely completion of the project.

Conducted weekly meetings with various Vendors, Field Engineers, Technicians and Network Engineers to make sure objectives and milestones were met and completions of the projects were finalized on schedule.

• Preside over meetings, provided updates and monitored milestones for the FTTP, MEVS Soft switch, Metro EON (Enhanced Optical Network) projects for Eastern Pennsylvania and Delaware.

• Facilitate weekly SONET (Synchronous Optical Network) calls updating status on assigned SONET rings, 2.5 G Wave-star rings, Discs (Intellilight Dedicated SONET Ring) and entrance facilities. Presented background information and current status of specialized projects at regional build team meetings. Worked with various parties to resolve any issues or roadblocks impacting the project.

Engineered the planning and deployment of Remote Test Access units and Satellite Global Positioning Systems throughout the Mid-Atlantic region enabling the availability to remotely provide testing capabilities.
