Senior Engineer

• Responsible for monitoring the progress of BMD facilities related projects as part of PMRF’s Upgrades Coordination Group.

• Supports Long Range Users Working Groups with site planning for missile build-up, launch, tracking, and the storage of ordnance / hazardous materials. Responsible for tabulating procurement quantities of liquid and gaseous nitrogen, helium, and krypton for missile preparation and flight.

• Provides expertise on Environmental Assessment Studies, specifically archaeological and site inspections. Initiated and continues to maintain the PMRF General Development Planning Map in AutoCAD, highlighting base wide geographic BMD project relationships.

• Acts as Deputy POC for the Regional Shore Infrastructure Management System (RSIMS) at PMRF. Conducts GPS, positional data, and optic surveys of Navy assets for inclusion in the Geodetic Constants Manual.

• Assists with the set-up of GPS missile flight simulation equipment.

• Supports the Range Safety Department with missile flight trajectory sky screen monitoring and Ground Hazard Area (GHA) engineering maps.

• Totally responsible for writing bid specifications and budget estimates; procuring, installing, and configuring the hardware/software; identifying and planning task work product milestones; importing, digitizing, and coding data layers and attributes; and UNIX database administration.

• Also responsible for developing an emergency management plan for the high tsunami and hurricane threat areas on the south shore of Kauai.

Massachusetts Water Resources Authority/Boston Harbor Project

• Construction Manager responsible for updating and managing approximately six thousand design, interim construction, and as-built condition drawings to support the construction of a $7.1 billion dollar waste treatment plant and its related facilities.

• Electronic Data Systems' Graphic Design System (GDS) software, linked to an ORACLE database, was utilized for the job.

• Three dimensional computer modeling and water flow simulations were also performed.

Saudi Arabian Electricity of the Western Region Saudi Arabia

• Organized and implemented, as part of the project management team, a total Materials Management Information System for the client.

• Deliverables were comprised of inventory, purchasing, budget estimates, and financial control software packages from Dun & Bradstreet Software, to track over one hundred thousand line items.

• In country Task Project Manager responsible for the training of approximately two hundred management, supervisory, and staff personnel by formal classroom and hands-on training sessions.

• Planned and conducted system presentations for client senior management personnel.

• Total responsibility for all implementation efforts related to bringing new warehouses on-line with the software system.

• Developed a comprehensive three dimensional computer model and virtual slide presentation "walk-through" of the proposed Central Artery/Third Harbor Tunnel Project in the South Boston area.

• The graphic representation was designed to aid in aesthetic planning as well as engineering applications.

• Provided technical expertise in the evaluation of existing LP&L operations, with an emphasis on strategies to convert maps, file cards, and engineering documents into a fully automated Information and Materials Management System.
