I began working for St. John’s Fire Department in March of 2000, in the maintenance department. Facilities Manager. I welded equipment, fire trucks, and service trucks. Maintenance on fire stations and all vehicles for the department. In 2001, I went to the South Carolina Fire Academy and received several certifications as a fireman. I was a fireman for St. John’s Fire Department for four years and achieved Firefighter I and II. I continued to weld for the fire department when they needed for me to do so. I had on the job certification for welding.
Love’s Construction

I worked for this company for 5 years on the days that I was not on shift at the fire department. This was primarily a dock and sea wall business. I was responsible for maintenance on all equipment and the barges that were used in the business. This included a lot of welding on the barges, which had to be kept water tight for use in the river and on the ocean. I ran the crews as foreman, designed docks and seawalls as well as being involved in the carpentry and construction.

This company manufactured towers for power lines and cell phone lines. I was a welder in this company doing spray arch welding. I was certified on the job for spray arch and ultra sound welding. Was foreman over a 50 man crew handled all ordering, HR issues, etc.
