SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS:

My introduction to the building / construction industry began when my com father founded Temple City Mechanical in 1968. I began my informal H.V.A.C. apprenticeship training in the summer of 1975 and upon my graduation from high school in 1979, I was considered by my piers to have achieved the H.V.A.C. “Field Journeyman” level of accomplishment.

Following the completion of Flight school & College in 1985, I was active in both the aviation and construction industries before taking a full time position with “J. T. Nute Construction Co.” General contractors out of Encinitas California in 1987 as an assistant field Superintendent. Currently with nearly 27 years of experience, I have served in many facets of the industry ranging from Project Superintendent / QC Manager, Project Manager, Estimator and Construction Manager Director of operations for Bowman Construction Company of California Inc. in a wide range of building theaters with high end “level V” finishes including but not limited to;

Private, State, Hospital, Airport, School, Government & Military Projects in:

Residential: Custom homes, Multifamily & Apartments, New / Remodel projects 1-3 stories.

Commercial: “Type V” 1 hour. Slab & podium wood frame construction projects 2-7 stories with subterranean parking structure.

Commercial: Steel & concrete metal framing building projects 2-16 stories with multi level subterranean parking / above ground parking structure systems, including Pre cast & cast in place concrete systems.

Commercial / Historical: Building restorations including seismic upgrades along with complete TI construction capturing mid to high level interior finishes.

Commercial / DOD/OSHPD: Steel & concrete, metal frame Hospital, Air craft hanger and terminal building projects 1-8 stories with mid high level TI and exterior facades.

TEXT QUALIFICATIONS:

• Microsoft Windows 7, Microsoft word, Microsoft office & MAC.

• Sure Trac. Scheduling programs P-2 & 3 (Master, CPM, & Update / Fragnet schedules) personal training P-4 Update 02/2010.

• Microsoft scheduling program “Project” & “Primavera” (Comprehensive Weekly to Twelve week look ahead, PCI & C/O schedules.

• AutoCAD-12 (DOS) from Autodesk Inc. & AutoCAD-14.

• Blackberry ~ 1999 / Current.

• Primavera ~ 2003 - 2006.

• CMIC ~ 2007 - 2010 / Current 11/2010.

• Overall operating proficiency (70% to 95%)

Management of all facets pertaining to the contract schedule, updates & weekly project meetings along with budget and owner PCI, C/O & RFI cost / non cost potential impacts.

In depth understanding of the overall project goals and owner satisfaction.

QC proficient in exceeding to meet project deadlines, overcoming obstacles to surpass the expectations of the owner and delivery of their final product on time per the contract documents.
