Organized and led the students and staff of the International Newcomer Academy Nashville Metro Schools in the design and completion of a large family tree mural.

Donated a custom piece incorporating a flood-damaged violin retrieved from the Nashville Flood 2010. The work was sold on an on-line to benefit local musicians who were uninsured and lost equipment and wages as a result of the 2010 flood.
“Legacy Trail Public Art Project” ~ L. T. Public Art Consortium September 2010
One of 10 artists to complete a “Tapis” (mural) on the pervious pavement of Lexington, KY’s new Legacy Trail (9 mile bike/walking trail connecting downtown to the Kentucky Horse Park) before the opening of the World Equestrian Games.

Two of my design submissions were sponsored “Ashland Stud” and “Cheval D’Etoile” and were installed in downtown Lexington, KY from July to November 2010. Both pieces were auctioned at the Keenland Sales pavilion to benefit local charities and art organizations. “Cheval D’Etoile” sold (in the top 3) to Lexington Clinic for $10,500. “Ashland Stud” was purchased by a private bidder for $4000. Both horses are featured in the book Horsemania 2010.

~Special show in my hometown of Frankfort, KY featuring 6 of my paintings. The exhibit was in a local eatery frequented by politicians & government employees---steps away from the KY State Capital.
“Art Heals: Women’s Hospital at St. Joe East” March 2010
~Through LexArts, St. Joe East acquired a collection of regional art on display in the Women’s Hospital. My painting, “Garden Path” was selected and purchased through this juried collaboration.
“Kisses At The Gate” ~Heritage Art Gallery February 2010
~Professional artists are paired with poets to create a work based on the writer’s poem. Will be exhibited as a collection during the Feb 2010 Gallery Hop. My work “De Chelly Peaches” was based on the poem by the same title.
“H’Artful of Fun” ~living Arts and Science Center January 2010
~LASC requested my work for sale in the live auction to benefit the organization. Exhibition of donated works is currently at the Living Arts and Science Center and will be auctioned at the event February 6, 2010.
“Side by Side” sponsored by Lex.Art League and Cardinal Hill January-present 2010
~Professional Artists were paired with children with disabilities to create and exhibit healing works of art. Exhibition is currently installed in the Mayor’s Office downtown Lexington.
“Candlelight Tour at Ashland” December 2009
~ My hand-painted ornaments of Henry Clay’s Ashland estate were on display and featured in the Lexington-Herald Leader. Forty percent of the proceeds from the ornament sales benefit the preservation of the historic site. To date, over $1000 has been donated to the historic foundation through the sale of my work.

~ Professional artists were paired with survivors of domestic violence to create healing works of art that share the message: Stop violence against women. The exhibit will be traveling the state of KY throughout 2010.

Designed and made custom Christmas stockings for sale at Artique in Lexington and on-line. The business was created to benefit Collin’s Classic for Children with Cancer. Contributed over $1000 to the organization through stocking sales.

Private practice therapist providing cognitive-behavioral therapy to adults, teens, children, families and couples. Specialized in the diagnosis and treatment of depression, anxiety and childhood behavior disorders.
Clinical Director, The Cleveland Home 1999-2001
Ran the treatment program at an in-patient treatment facility for adolescent girls. Coordinated the treatment team and extensive treatment plans, provided individual cognitive-behavioral therapy to the residents and facilitated the girls’ reunification with their families.

Provided cognitive-behavioral therapy to individual adults, children and families in a community mental health facility serving clients in the Woodford County area.
Child-Victim Therapist, Children’s Advocacy Center/Comprehensive Care Center 1997-1998
Provided therapy to child victims of sexual and physical abuse at the Children’s Advocacy Center in Lexington, KY. Responsible for compiling statistics on child victims of abuse for on-going national grant that funded the program.
