April 2011 - Till Date Swift Oil Ltd Position: Oil Tank Farm Head of Operation

Head of the Oil tank farm depot operation team receives Oil and gas products (PMS, DPK and AGO) from high sea into our tank farm. Deals with piping and pipeline connections, bends, tees, elbow and flanges as required.

With vast knowledge in the handing and storage of all petroleum products. Signing of NOR, shore tank receipt, receiving certificate of origin and head of the engineering team working towards building profitable goals on diverse engineering projects.

Duties include general Oil tank farm day to day operations from supervision of loading at the gantry and ullage of loaded trucks. General knowledge of products/hydrant lines in a tank farm construction.

Knowledge of mechanical works in tank farm construction and operations amongst other piping fittings procurement, maintenance and operation on ball valves, strainers, gate valves, loading meters e.t.c.

Tank farm operation knowledge in vessel to tank farm product receipt, product haulage, product trucking etc. Knowledge of HSE training in depot operation during emergency with cognizance to safety signage in the depot.

Working closely with the Business Operations Manager in sourcing for Cargo, and appointment of suitable vessel for product loading operations.

Work directly with the company’s appointed Agent in ensuring that necessary dues are paid to the appropriate authorities and ensuring that Naval Clearance is in place for discharge and Pilot is appointed for inward and outward movement of vessels.

Communicate with company’s supercargo to obtain frequent updates on loading operations and inward delivery of product; equally Liaising with the Depot in ensuring that the Jetty and Tanks are adequately prepared for product receipt.

Ensure that the right government agencies or officers of DPR, PPPRA and auditors are invited promptly for product haulage and discharge inspection. Review existing data and data storage process.

Jan 2010 – Jan 2011 O’HARA CONSTRUCTION COMPANY LTD. Position: Project Engineer

Performed Pipelay analysis using Offpipe and Pipelay for the detailed stinger design and also structural analysis of components. Field development using offpipe, Pipelay and Carried out the detailed engineering design.

Analysis performed includes, routing of the spool/pipeline between the two platforms, stress analysis of spool/pipeline and flange check using finite element programme ANSYS and in-house spreadsheet.

Ensuring team effort, coordination and progress of work, Mobilisation of work force to site, Geotechnics and design, drilling, pipeline routing and designs.

May 2009 – Jan 2010 Mcmalay Integrated Limited Position: Project Engineer

Part of the engineering team working towards building profitable goals on diverse engineering projects. Involvement in HAZOP studies and risk analyses.
