Objective
To obtain a job that will allow me to get a more varied skill set and expand my knowledge.
Personal Profile
I am an organized, responsible and outgoing. I have excellent communication skills. I can follow directions well but I am not afraid to take a leadership role. I am very caring and enjoy helping people in anyway I can. Over the last few years I have learned to manage my time exceptionally well and how to do multiple things at the same time. I enjoy being busy and like a fast-paced environment however I am also comfortable in a laid back environment. I am friendly and easily approachable, I pick up new things fast and enjoy learning about new things.
Professional Experience
North Creek Presbyterian Church (2007-2009)
Nursery Attendant
While I was working here I looked after children age 0-14, kept them safe while having fun, and assisted with homework. I also introduced parents to how the nursery system worked (how to sign the children in, what to do to check them out and explained what happens in emergency situations). Provided snack for the children who were hungry. I also cleaned the nursery after all the children left; which included doing the dishes, picking up toys and vacuuming. Generally there were multiple children at one time in two rooms. If it was nice outside then I would take the children outside to the jungle gym or basketball court.
I got involved in nursery after I volunteered there for two years. (2005-2007).
CPR/first aid certified until April 2010.
Amy Riedel (2010-2011)
Nanny
I have most recently been a nanny to family of three children and a single mom. I drive the youngest to school every morning, help her get ready and help her make breakfast. I also help out with the older children driving them to school or other events when Amy is unavailable. They have two dogs which I help to take care of.

Extracurricular Activities
High School-
o Dance team – (2006-2009)
Spirit and Social Leader – I coordinated and organized social activities for dance team members and made members excited to participate and support our dance team and those we competed with. I also was a role model to younger dances of how to represent our school in the community and at competitions through respect and being friendly.
o Leadership – (2008-2009)
.I helped to plan/coordinate student ran activities. Some examples are pep assemblies, spirit week, homecoming, food drives and class involvement during lunches. In all the above listed activities I lead a team of five or six fellow students through a step-by-step process to plan and put-on activities for fellow students.
Western Washington University-
o Western Students Against Caner- (2010-2011)
This is a club that focuses on spreading and raising money for cancer research. This includes tabling in Red Square (giving out ribbons and facts about cancer), creating posters to put around campus and planning Western’s Relay for Life. Relay for Life is WSAC’s biggest fundraiser and the main reason why I joined the club. We worked with the American Cancer Society to raise money to find a cure for cancer. My participation in Relay is the survivorship role. I plan, organize and honor survivors who come to participate in our event.
