Summary of qualifications
I have experience in many areas. Although I enjoy my job as a Surgical Technician, I’m looking for a small change in career so I can see the results of my job and communicate with patients and/or Sales Representatives, Managers, and whoever else may be involved. I’ve worked in customer service for four years and I have 7 years of experience in healthcare. I am proficient in the computer system where I am employed now. I enjoyed the involvement in building and implementing the new nursing documentation system. While working in the OR, I also tried to find time to update materials on the system and help secretaries and nurses when they had questions. I can be a leader and a team member. I have excellent communication skills and also consider myself an exceptional problem solver and mediator. All workers can be more productive if they are working in a positive work environment.

Duties: The Surgical Technician is to assist the surgeon to the completion of each operation safely and efficiently. The individual must possess skills and competencies necessary to provide nursing care to patients ranging in age from neonate to geriatric. I have become indispensable to alot of the surgeons and other staff. I’ve developed good relationships with co workers and the surgeons.
