Staffing Manager/Recruiter (Contractor)
Managed the recruitment life cycle from sourcing to
hire for the Tri-States Sales Markets for 75 company-
owned retail stores and for the indirect and small
business sales channels. Responsibilities included
sourcing, screening, applicant tracking, management
consultation, background checks, job offers, and new
hire on boarding. Managed vacancies and applicant flow
through People Click for commissioned sales and
management positions. Effectively handled an average
of 60-70+ open requisitions while providing excellent
service and consistent follow up to clients. Ensured
staffing and employment processes were in compliance
with local labor agreements with the CWA.
* Built relationships with individual hiring
managers and Market Leadership to drive the
staffing process and to educate the managers on
policy and compliance. Successfully improved
staffing metrics, e.g. reduced time to fill from
average 57 to 45 days; reduced volume of 60 + day
old requisitions.

screening interviews of candidates for exempt and
non-exempt customer service and support positions for
call centers. Remotely managed staffing vendors for
Temporary-to-Hire and contract positions in multiple
business-care call centers in Paramus, NJ, acting as
a liaison between the vendors and on-site managers
and tracking agency candidates for on-site
interviews. Managed on-line applicants using People
Click and Restrac. As Conversion Coordinator managed
the process of converting approved temporary workers
to full-time status for 6 call centers.
* Assisted in the successful roll-out of the
Temporary-to-Hire program for the Paramus, NJ
call centers in February, 2004, the first call
centers to implement the TTH program after the
Pilot program in Kansas City.
