Work Experience :

Currently working for S. H. Kelkar & Co. Ltd., as a Junior Executive - Perfumery, South-East Asia.

Undertaken various projects under the guidance of senior perfumer related to fragrances and flavors matching and trickled down for various cosmetic products, fine fragrances, toiletries, batti, pan masala, mouth fresheners, supari, gutkha, fruity flavours.

Out of the various projects undertaken, so far I have three wins

Set-up three full-fledged Perfumery Laboratories for the Bangalore Unit within 4-5 months

• B.Sc. Zoology from Mumbai University with First class in year March 2007

• Completed Two years full time Post Graduate Diploma in Cosmetics and Perfumery Management from University of Mumbai and ISIPCA University France with First Class in April 2009

On-the-job Training :

• Successfully completed Training of Analytical Instruments such as pH meter, GLC, HPLC, Nephelometry, UV–Spectrophotometer etc. in Reliable Analytical Laboratories, Thane.

• Accomplished 4 days training programme in essential oils, fragrances & Flavours at FFDC Fragrance & Flavour Development Centre, Kannauj.

• Participated as a demonstrator and an instructor for panelists in the Sensory Evaluation Studies of Creams, conducted by Gattefosse.

• Successfully completed one and half month’s Internship in Butic Cosmetics India Pvt. Ltd., Pune. In the course of time, successfully completed the training programme in the departments of Production and Packaging for creams, lotions, powders, shampoos and gels. Had been working on the R & D as well as marketing projects.

R & D project - Product development: Formulated Body Scrub using different sea-weeds.

Marketing project: Market Survey Beauty Parlors in Pune.

Dissertation:

Topic– “Incorporation of Panchamruta in Personal Care Cosmetics.”

Product development – Development of Six products (Milk – Moisturizing Cream, Curd – Cleansing Lotion, Honey – Astringent Gel, Sugar – Peel off mask, Ghee – Lip Balm, Panchamruta – Nourishing Lotion) using the ingredients of Panchamruta, with its Stability, Panel Testing, Microbial testing, Efficacy.

Marketing, Sales Promotion, Pricing, Packaging.

This dissertation work was recognized and published in “Entire Research”, a magazine by Mumbai University.
