OBJECTIVE:

Seeking a full time position in telecommunications industry as an electrical engineer where I can effectively apply my skills and expand them.

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS:

• Pursuing Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Texas at San Antonio. With an overall GPA of 3.7.

Course work: Communications and Network security, Spread spectrum communications and GPS, VLSI Design and technology, Linear Control systems, Digital Signal Processing, Power Electronics, Advanced Sensor devices.

• Pursued B.E in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from MVSR Engg. College, affiliated to Osmania University, Hyderabad, with a GPA of 3.65.

Course work: Embedded systems, Microprocessors and Microcontrollers, Power Electronics, Digital Logic Design, Control Systems, Integrated Circuits, Digital Signal Processing.

RESEARCH AND PROJECTS:

1) REMOTE LABORATORIES:

This is my current Thesis research going on at UTSA. The main aim is to integrate a self designed hardware circuit with Lab View software using DAQ in the implementation of running a single Dielectric Measurement sample test as multisampling test to improvise its efficiency and reduce losses while operating remotely.

2) DIGITAL SIGNAL PROCESSING:

Studied and Implemented different properties and characteristics of Image and Audio Signal processing using MATLAB. Quantized and sampled different image and audio files, and designed filters to reduce different kinds of noise and to get a good clarified signal.

3) GPS AND SPREAD SPECTRUM:

Simulation of GPS tracking, acquisition and calculation of BER for BPSK, QPSK and OQPSK was calculated in MATLAB.

4) STUDY OF SWITCH BEAM ANTENNA

Researched and designed an antenna to monitor signal strength & switching using microcontroller.

5) VLSI DESIGN:

Programmed adders (carry and ripple carry adders), multipliers, traffic signal, and worked on the project 32 bit CRC (cyclic redundancy check) in Xilinx and Cadence.

6) MICRO MOUSE:

I have programmed a robot to work as a micro mouse, to find the shortest path to the center of a maze in C language. The robot first tries all possible paths to the center and stores the path, and with error reduction feedback control it re-analyzes the track and it autonomously follows the shortest path to the center of the maze erasing the paths not required.

7) INVERTED PENDULUM:

As a part of Linear Control Systems course project at UTSA, worked with the construction of an Inverted Pendulum, implementing feedback control system in its design.

8) CELL PHONE OPERATED ROBOT:

I have built this robot in my undergraduate final year. This project is mainly based on the DTMF Technology. This includes ATMEGA16 microcontroller programmed through WIN AVR software in C Language which directs and controls the robot based on the decoded DTMF signals from the cell phone.

9) WALL FOLLOWING ROBOT:

I have built up an autonomous robot with sensors using ATMEGA16 Microcontroller. This robot was programmed to move along the wall. It makes turns in the direction of the wall maintaining a specific distance between the wall and the robot.

INTERNSHIP:

Attended a course on “Metrology, Electronics interconnection techniques, PLCs and Microcontrollers” for four weeks during June 2008. During this internship, I have also learnt Industrial Automation through Siemens S7 PLC using STEP-7 software. I have also learnt programming of 8051 using keil software.

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

1) Proficient in simulation tools: Lab View and MATLAB.

2) Proficient in VLSI Programming tools: Verilog, Xilinx ISE, and cadence virtuoso.

3) Proficient in scripting language PERL.

4) Proficient in software programming tools: JAVA and C/C++.

5) Worked with 8051, 8086 processors using assembly and C language.

EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES:

1) Elected President of Indian Students Association of UTSA for the year 2011-2012.

2) Vice President of Atom Student Body (2009-2010), a student body association of Electrical and Electronics Engineering department MVSR Engineering College (INDIA).

3) Organised National Level TECH Fest “Samavarthan-2k8” and “Samavarthan-2k9” and “MVSR Energy Day”.

4) Attended a summer camp on “Advanced Communication Skills in English for Professionals” conducted by ELTC (English Language Training Centre) Osmania University.

5) Achieved “A” Certificate in NCC (National Cadet Corps) during the examination held in 2003 under the Authority of Ministry of Defence, Government of India.

6) Attended a training program in Electronics for a month conducted by IETE(The Institution of electronics and Telecommunication Engineers)
