• Developed and managed specialized response teams for disaster response. Managed response teams for Hurricane Katrina/Rita and the Binghamton-New York flood responses with a combined budget in excess of $30M.
• Requested by USEPA to complete the clean up, dismantling, demolition and remediation of an abandoned chemical plant in a residential neighborhood. The site was on the National Priority List and had a total budget in excess of $8M.
• Selected as Team Chemist/Alternate Response Manager for the High Hazard Response Team. Training included CBRN training and Level A Tactics.

• Managed all aspects of a large manufacturing plant’s environmental program to include: hazardous material testing, waste determination, storage and disposal; solid waste; used oil program; scrap metal salvage; and oversight of the on-site landfill and wastewater treatment plant.

• Provided environmental consulting, training and hazardous waste management services in support of combined US military forces in the Southwest Asia AOR.
• Advised, planned logistics and facilitated hazardous material clean ups and removals from over 20 different base locations in 8 countries in the AOR, in addition to semi-annual joint forces training exercises and servicing US naval ships directly from 2 different port locations.
• Solely responsible for negotiating, establishing and handling all contracts and dealings relating to local business sponsorships, competent authorities, government ministries and import/export shipping permits. Point of contact and liaison with the 5th Fleet Naval Regional Contracting Center in Bahrain.
• Responsible for all aspects of the $ 2M per year contract, to include both financial reporting and invoicing, as well as preparation of all transboundary shipping and disposal documents, which included US (EPA, DOT), international (IMO/IMDG, Basel Convention) and Canadian.
