Technical Experience:
I have 15 years of experience with performing Vascular, Echo and General ultrasound. I have vast knowledge in the area of ultrasound terminology and ultrasound physics and instrumentation. I have worked on numerous types of ultrasound systems and have a great work ethic. I have the ability to communicate with physicans and staff and work well under pressure. I also have experience with lab accreditation with the American College of Radiology.

Performance Objectives:
- Evaluate characteristics of normal and abnormal findings and take appropriate additional images as needed.
- Apply knowledge of anatomy and pathology in correlation with exam findings to form an accurate diagnosis.
- Obtain relevant patient history including signs, symptoms, risk factors in order to form an accurate diagnosis.
- Completely survey areas of interest and surrounding structures.
- Annotate images correctly by imputing patient identification and appropriate image text required by the reading physician.
- Incorporate proper departmental examination protocols in order to obtain suitable images for diagnosis.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment including quality assurance and upkeep of laboratory ultrasound systems.
- Demonstrate proper doppler gain, wall filters, sample volume size and placement and utilize ALARA principles.
-Optimize images based on proper frame rate, field of view, overall gain, TGC's, focal zones, depth, magnification, image orientation, power, pre and post processing, dynamic range and accurate measurements according to the exam being performed.
