Lexmark has gradually moved their inventory to supplier’s warehouse in order to reduce inventory cost. This project plays a big role towards achieving that goal. This project interfaces supplier’s application with JDE and runs the Purchase Order process with minimum human intervention. The only manual activity involved in this process is, when the Lexmark user pulls inventory from supplier’s warehouse to their own virtual warehouse for shipment to customer. In case of any error, the process sends out e-mail to appropriate key user for their immediate intervention.
