Nissen World Inc. USA. Engineering Director 1995-present

Control the operation of entire organization. Sales hit over 4 Million dollar in less then 5 years from scratch. Developed customers like Raychem/Tyco, teccor/Invensys, Delco/Delphi, Motorola, IBM, Texas Instrument and many more.

Control the Engg department. Hire and train new personnel.

At Nissen we developed wide range of portfolio with hydraulic/Pneumatic/servo presses, Dies molds, automated handling, packaging, P&P and vision machines with PLC and PC control.

During this time designed/shipped couple very sophisticated fully automatic machines, one of which was installed in Japan.

During 1981-1990 the responsibilities were to design manufacture and debug dies/molds/ automated systems for processing semiconductor devices.

During this period Kras historically started building automated equipment & developed new customers globally. I played very important role in developing new customers and sell our new products.

MAJOR ACCOMPLISHMENTS :

Designed couple hundred manual/semi auto tooling using Pneumatics, Hydraulic and Electric/Electronic control to process the semiconductor devices.

Designed/Debugged 10s of fully automatic machines to trim, form, singulate and package DIP, PLCC, QFP, SO, TO, BGA.. products (semiconductor devices). Some of these systems created industry standards and were in news worldwide.

Developed compact system to process the TO-92 from reel to reel. Philips installed over 50 such systems and enjoyed the technology in 1990’s.

Designed and Debugged Lead Frame stamping dies and resettable fuse stamping systems.

Designed and debugged a fully automatic poly switch (resettable multi layer fuse) machine installed in Japan. A project over 1/2M US$.

Designed and debugged a fully automatic lead Reforming machine, IC handler and vision inspection machine using 2D camera.

Worked on very advanced semiconductor manual and fully automated encapsulating techniques.

Developed and manufactured fully automated high speed servo mechanical presses with robotic feed and vision guided feeding sytems. These Servo presses consist of state of the art technologies, robust and smooth operation and maintenance free for years.

High speed Pick & Place machines.

Vision inspection machines. Incorporation of vision components in the machine.

Injection molding various sizes components for electronic and medical industry.

Ablility to manage or guide a technology company/department manufacturing any electrical/electronic components, any medical devices, toolings/machines or assembling devices.

Interaction skills with the customers. Worked very closely with the customers in Asia, USA, Europe and Japan.

Worked with many different Industry standards like six sigma, mil std., Jedec, NEC…etc.
