• Intern: Researched the process of manufacturing and designing Microsystems. Hands on lab work focused on the packaging of microelectronics with the use of automatic or manual bonders and placers.

• Intern: Analyzed foreign nation’s security measures for hazardous and nuclear materials. Major focus was placed on the process of locating and securing radioactive and hazardous materials in the former USSR. Collaborated to help design, develop, and implementation of a security system in potentially vulnerable locations.

PROJECTS

AUTONOMOUS FAN CONTROLLER COLORADO SCHOOL OF MINES SPRING 2010

• Class Project: Designed a microcontroller fan system capable of optimizing the flow rate between two points for the desired cooling rate. It functions by calculating the temperature increase between the intake and exhaust fan and calculates the estimated heat generation of the source, adjusting the fan speed to maintain the lowest optimal temperature.

SKI BIKE ATTACHMENT DESIGN TEXAS TECH UNIVERSITY SPRING 2008

• Lead Designer: Senior Design group project to design an assembly to attach snow ski blades onto any standard bike frame. Special focus was placed on being retrofitted onto bikes with shock suspension to ensure universal operation regardless of moving points on the bike.
