My most resent achievements are:
Completed one year at Swindon College for a modern apprenticeship in the motor mechanics,
Gained a 3 year apprenticeship for light vehicle NVQ level 3 advanced, with Skurrays Vauxhall, however due to my eagerness to learn and my interests in mechanics this was achieved within 2 years, I became a qualified mechanic in December 2006.

Nov 2004 to Nov 2007 Skurrays Vauxhall Dealership Apprentice Mechanic
Employed on a three year program as an apprentice mechanic. This involved working under the guidance of four qualified mechanics carrying out all aspects of repairs, maintenance, service, diagnostic and fault finding. The three year apprenticeship was with carter and carter M-tec Collage, on a two week release program four times a year.
November 2003 –2005 Tesco plc Shop Assistant (Part Time)
Employed in a small community store within the Tesco retail chain, interfacing directly with the public which required me to further develop effective customer service skills. Responsibilities include receiving of stock, filling shelves, and providing in store customer advice and assistance. A large proportion of my time was working on the checkout. Once I gained my apprenticeship at Skurrays Vauxhall I continued to work for Tesco two evenings a week.

March 2001 – December 2002 Noffs Fish Bar Fast Food Assistant
This was a fast food environment where responsibilities included food preparation, regular stocking of shelves and stocktaking. I was also trained to place stock orders whilst under supervision. Preparation to close the shop included cleaning all equipment and work surfaces, disposal of any unsold cooked food. Close adherence to hygiene regulations was critical at all times.

I take a particular interest in F1 motor sport where my main focus is on the engineering of the cars and their performance expectations. However I do enjoy watching the racing events as well.
