Personal Profile

I will be graduating as an RN in May 2012. After graduation, I will attend Chamberlain University online to receive my Master’s Degree in Nursing.

Prior to Nursing I served in Kuwait for one year with the army national guard. This was a great experience, as it led me to my love of nursing. I was required to take a combat readiness life saver course before we deployed. After this class I decided I would return to the United States and enroll in a RN program. I am now in my last semester, and will be graduating in May.

Emergency Department- this was a great experience, as I was able to observe the nurses and doctors in a fast paced environment. In this short time, I developed great time management skills and the ability to build a rapport with clients in the little time that we spent together.

Army National Guard, 2003-2009

92a, supply component, required tedious organizational skills, ordering and shipping supplies, and working well with others.

Deployed to Louisiana in 2005, as relief during Hurricane Katrina

Deployed to Kuwait in 2008, for Operation Iraqi Freedom
