Managed all aspects of a mattresses and box spring manufacturer who sold to retail stores, hotels, hospitals, interior designers and cruise ships. Strong general management qualifications in strategic planning from product design, designing sales materials, training sales people, production planning, material acquisition, scheduling and delivery. Through effective marketing and sales delivery, increased sales from $600,000 to $9,000,000.

• Started as a sales person with the company which in 1995 had 8 employees. By 1997 had increased sales to $1,200,000 and made an agreement to run the company.

• Increased sales to $9,000,000 by adding retail store customers and actively marketing to hotels.

• Identified new channels for sales people to target, designed and implemented sales and marketing to new audience. Offered sales people short and long term incentives to maximize their performance.

• Personally worked with new and large accounts to identify their problems and offer solutions

• Negotiated with numerous suppliers to reduce costs. Continually acquired machinery to integrate the latest technology which could handle the rapid growth and keep labor costs down.

• Worked with the U.S. Coast Guard to make sure we were in compliance with all nautical rules and regulations.

• Was promoted to Assistant Director of Marketing in 1993 and moved to Valley Forge Pennsylvania. Designed new product selling tools and methods. Worked with Tom Hopkins and other motivational and sales training professionals to increase our overall sales performance.
