Cell Site Technician

Duties include but are not limited to daily overview and preventative maintenance of 31 cell sites. Analyze data from various specialized tools to isolate and repair any transmit, receive, pilot, paging and or sync issues. Test and accept T-1 work orders. Deal with various contractors on work related to cell sites including but not limited to landscape, 48 volt plant, DSX panels, and preventative maintenance on microwave radios, general building transport infrastructure, generator maintenance and repair. Responsible for conference calls to update our outside customers and spread sheet updates on new generator deployment, In building repeaters and T1 work orders for our respective group. Interfaced with facility Engineers to work out problems in work order path issues.

Install Technician

Train and supervise new Technicians. Install Newbridge 3600 for Verizon wireless. Install and provision the Newbridge 3600 and 3624 also made cables to adapt between the 3600/3624 and the DSX panels.

Q/A and UL Technician

Quality assurance and stress testing of new and existing video imaging equipment to ensure a long life. Resolve manufacturing flaws in production lines in an efficient manner to minimize down time. Assist Engineers with prototype circuit boards, product aesthetics and ergonomics of new release products. Work in conjunction with Underwriters Laboratory Engineers to assure equipment passes all criteria of Underwriters Laboratory certifications.
