My responsibilities and duties consist of sales management, recruiting, brand support, coaching, training and development of the entire team, new Brand initiatives, loss prevention, merchandising, etc.
10-2005 to 2-2007 MOSAIC SALES SOLUTIONS, Houston, Texas
Regional Manager- I supervise a team of 6 District Sales Managers and 150 sales and merchandising specialists in the west region. Our client is Kodak. This program consists of merchandising, sales, and demonstrations as well as training of the Kodak product in various electronic retailers throughout the western parts of the US. In addition to merchandising, sales and demonstrations I am also responsible for coaching, training and development of the merchandising specialists, new program implementations, asset control, payroll control, client relations, and brand support.
1-2000 to 6-2005 FASHION CENTS, Houston, Texas
District Sales Manager- An off-price retailer in which I managed up to 11 stores in South Texas, Louisiana, and Oklahoma City with volume of up to $ 6.5 million. Supervised up to 70 employees. Opened and established 9 of the 11 stores within the district. Responsibilities included sales management, recruitment and development of employees, store audits, ensuring proper implementation of the visual merchandising in all stores, payroll, cost controls, new program implementations, and loss prevention. Sales results varied from a + 10% to LY- (9%) to LY. Decreased the overall shrink results of the district in the five-year period 30%-49% of the company goal of 2.0%.
5-1998 to 9-1999 GATEWAY COUNTRY, Houston, Texas
Assistant Manager- Assisted in the management of a $13 million computer showroom, which employed up to 22-25 employees. Responsibilities included the coaching, training and development of 13-15 sales representatives, sales management, recruitment, new product training, demonstrations, visual merchandising, and brand support, as well as client relations.

District Sales Manager (10/95 – 2/98)- A Specialty retailer in which I managed up to 10 stores in the South Texas market, with a volume level of $10-$12 million. I supervised up to 90 employees. Responsibilities included brand support, sales management, coaching, training and development of all employees, visual merchandising, loss prevention, upgraded personnel within the key stores to help improve overall performance of the stores, and new program implementations. Improved the sales results within the district from a (12%) to +2% to plan; (11%) LY to + 7% LY. Improved ADS by 20%, and improved SPAH by 5.5%. Overall sales rankings for 1997 were 7th and rankings for 1996 were 4th out of over 70 district sales managers.
