Responsibilities:

All ultra sonological cases are represented most frequent cases represent liver pathologies, gallbladder diseases, renal and pelvic abnormalities, urinary bladder stones and enlargement of the prostate gland. Ultrasound pregnancy related such as ectopic pregnancy, preferably by transvaginal scanning and pregnancy ultrasound scan alongside the 4Dscan to offer a full scan report to include fetal growth measurements, location of placenta, determination of gender and presentation of the fetus.

• Conducting obstetrics sonography.

• Undertake duties and responsibilities necessary to facilitate ultrasound request from the patients.

• Acquaint patients on the requirements for each test and preparations of patients.

• Provide the patients with the proper sonographic identification to include patient’s full name, age and what kind of examination should undertake.

• Perform sonogram examination, both IN and OUT patient.

• Monitors examination by viewing images on video screen to evaluate quality and consistency of diagnostic images and make adjustments to equipment required.

• Record and store suitable images by using camera unit or digital imager.

• Observe and care for patients throughout examinations to ensure patient privacy, safety and comfort.

• Coordinate with different department for information relative to the department activity.

• Ensure ideal stock inventory of all supplies to match the inventory reports.
