LABORATORY TECHNICIAN I

Produce and aliquot reagents for BAS chemical assay test kits, including homocysteine and catacholamine assay kits. Label and package kits for shipment. Deliver packaged kits to inventory. Manufacture columns for HPLC testing. Includes acetacholine/choline, glucose oxidase imers, guard columns and microbore columns. Package columns for shipment and deliver to inventory. Order chemicals, equipment, and other lab supplies, configure computer equipment, assemble and operate test equipment. Maintain chemical inventory and monitor chemical use to comply with safety and health regulations. Conduct computerized statistical data analysis on various column tests, use computer to prepare graphs and reports which are included with column shipments.

Bioanalytical Systems - Analytics

QUALITY CONTROL AUDITOR

Assist the BAS Analytics quality assurance unit in the review of clinical study materials that require a 100% audit level. These reviews were done under the direction of an experienced quality assurance auditor. Additional duties include assisting in the review of report table and associated calculations, and the review of interim and final data tables that are reported to clients. Provide administrative support to the quality assurance unit.
