PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE IN THE COMMUNITY:

My professional experiences have been working for the Department of Student Activities and the International Student Services Department at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University as a University staff member for nearly 34 years before voluntarily leaving their employment after 30 of us were downsized.

But my experiences in the League of Women Voters of Volusia County and as state Secretary for the LWV of Florida served me well to see both local and regional influences politics has on saving or damaging our natural environment.

Long before I became local President, I headed the study teams for four local program studies – all relating to water, and growth management. These studies and concensus questions agreed upon by our local league, has drawn the League Natural Resources Program into true focus. We are now able to fight the fight; and keep the real information flowing to the community about these important issues.

Yes, after all that time, I’m considered an “experienced employee” but I have several years left of passions for conservation and the willingness to fight against big business and the developers. Let me work for you.
