* Through a series of subcontracts, I designed and implemented an IT environment for a Department of Defense inventory and troubleshooting management website, including hardware, maintenance, and replication.

Detailed Experience

My primary role was to manage the Microsoft Exchange Server 2003/2007 environment. This included:

* Creation of VB.Net applications to support and streamline Exchange and Active Directory 2003 management. I helped the college save thousands of dollars by writing a program to help with the provision, management and deletion of Active Directory accounts and Exchange Mailboxes. The program used a custom file for settings and synchronized data between the Microsoft SQL Server and Active Directory.

* Along with the Systems Manager, I designed our Active Directory environment including Group Policies

* Developed Microsoft Outlook Web Access internal support page using ASP.Net

* Perform all typical Exchange functions including distribution group management, Global Address List population, securing SMTP gateway, and enabling mobile access.

* Researched and tested smart phone options for company employees including Windows Mobile 4.5, 5.0, 6.0 and RIM Blackberry devices.

* Researched and build environment for migration to Exchange Server 2007. Project is ongoing.

* Researched and implemented Quest Messagestats, Quest Spotlight on Exchange, Exclaimer Mail Utilities, and Microsoft Forefront Security using Antigen for Exchange.

* Researched various archiving solutions including those by Quest and CommVault.

Other main role was to manage the Secure Computing Ironmail appliance:
