Evaluate occupational health and environmental issues, and develop safety awareness by conducting safety training classes. This include electrical, PPE, welding, cutting, evacuation, lock out, tag out, machine guarding, hand tools, pressure vessels, water and radiation. I review confined space entry procedures and handle proper storage of waste material. I review production equipment proposals. I investigate accidents and injuries on sites. I build a strong rapport with the employees by investigating the problem first hand. I serve as technical expert on the safety committee to help develop and recommend new safety policies.
