The server platform is Windows Server 2003 on HP Proliant hardware. The network platform is metro Ethernet and point to point T1s on HP Procurve hardware. Information Systems Experience:
Possess extensive knowledge and experience in information technology and data processing in mainframe, minicomputer and PC based local/wide area networking environments. Areas include Novell versions ranging from v2.15 through v5.1, OS/2, Windows/95/NT/2000/XP/2003/2008 and Citrix MetaFrame/Xenapp, AIX, Solaris, Linux (Caldera & Red Hat) and SCO UNIX. Network topologies include Ethernet, Arcnet, Token Ring and FDDI in multiprotocol routed / switched environments. I have worked extensively with ISDN, ADSL, T3s, T1s, Frame Relay, and Metro Ethernet. I have Microsoft Exchange 5.5-2010 SQL 2000-2008 and Watchguard Firewall experience. Programming languages include Clipper v5.01 – 5.2, Dataflex 2.3 – 3.01b, Foxpro 2.5 and CA – Visual Objects. I wrote the dispatching system that directs all the busses for the Metropolitan Transit Authority (Nashville TN) and an interface that links HAMS (Healthcare Agency Management System) to ABRA (a commercially popular Payroll system). I have installed 50+ WAN sites using Cisco equipment (1000,1600,2500,2600, and 3600 series routers) on frame relay circuits, 15+ sites on 3Com (Netbuilder III and Boundary Router) equipment and 22 Sites on Nortel Equipment. (BCN, ARN and AN routers) and 6 sites on HP Procurve Routers using QOS for VOIP. I have experience with HP and Dell Storage Area Networks. I have a lot of experience with VMWare on the Mac side, less so on the windows side but am progressing with VSphere 5 and intend to get a certification to complement my CCNA and CNE.
