Role: Project Management in Agile Methodology, User Acceptance Testing(UAT) and Consulting - Application Development based on Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Maintenance Project
As a part of one of the Project Management assignments, was involved in all Phases of SDLC starting from the Requirement Gathering, Analysis, Design, Construction, Implementation and Testing. She was a key player focusing on Project Estimation, Project Planning, Financial Management, Reviewing Deliverables, Maintenance and Testing activities of the Project.
Since the application was developed and used for PwC Partners of Central and Eastern Europe(CEE) initially, Kalyani co-ordinated extensively with Partner Affairs of CEE as well as India when the Application was again developed customized for India Partners of PwC and then for Middle East PwC Partners.
Kalyani performed the User Acceptance Testing for the Project before client delivery of issues and changes to ensure Quality deliverables meeting requirements meeting zero defect criteria.
As a Consulting Project Manager Kalyani periodically advised clients for incorporating enhanced features and tools to improve Application performance and effectiveness. She addressed changes in the application to incorporate changes in the Business scenario of the working Partners of the CEE firm.
Kalyani was a key player in Requirement Gathering for the India phase of the application as well as the Middle East.

Role: Project Management in Second (2LS) and Third Level(3LS) Maintenance and Support of Applications based on ITIL Standards, Relationship Management, User Acceptance Testing(UAT) and Consulting - Maintenance Project based on resolution of 2LS and 3LS tickets in the IT Service Management Tool by Remedy
Worked as the Onsite (PwC London) Co-ordinator and Offshore Project Manager in PwC UK-IT Application Support Project leading a team of 9 in Offshore. This Project included maintenance and support of more than 60 applications used across PwC UK Offices by staff and Business.
The roles and responsibilities included ensuring Service Level Agreement(SLA) compliance in resolution of second and third level tickets, Stakeholder Management, Quality Management (key project highlighted as a Maintenance & Support project for CMMi evaluation of the firm) third-party Vendor Management and SLA and Status Reporting.
The scope of work also involved ensuring business analysis, requirement gathering,, testing delivery of small and medium enhancements with Quality standards. The applications were developed in Microsoft Technologies like ASP, ASP.Net, C#, VB, JavaScript, using SQL Server and Oracle Databases.
Worked closely with the PwC UKIT department in London as an Onsite Co-ordinator in 2005, 2006 and 2007.
This Project was show cased as the key Maintenance & Support Project during the CMMi Level 5 evaluation of the firm in 2011.
Project 3: Oracle GATE Client: PWC GRMS Global Development Centre, USA Location: Kolkata, India;

Role: Project Leader in Agile Methodology, User Acceptance Testing(UAT) and Consulting - Application Development based on Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Maintenance & Enhancement Project
Oracle GATE is a tool developed to assist with the review / analysis of segregation of duties and configurable settings for Oracle Applications. The GRMS practice groups use the tool to prepare the reports necessary to perform Oracle Applications Control and Security and audit assurance (audit support) assignments. The tool is used globally in different territories of United States, Europe and Asia.
Responsible for maintenance of the application that involved a .NET Web application and a Java Swing offline desktop application.
Provided Support of the application involving solving of issues as and when they arrive and client interaction over phone, chat and mails.
Extensively involved in the enhancement of the application and the development of Version 2 of the Tool acting as the Project Lead for the web based .Net version.

Role: Project Member in Testing, Automating Test Scripts – Testing Project
This Project involved automating the Test Scripts for User interface for Medical Images on a platform called Syngo.
The process involved testing of the functionalities provided to the User for manipulating images obtained from a Medical device like UltraSound and CT machines in a Hospital Management System.
Worked as a Test Developer in the writing and testing the Test Cases for testing the said functionality using VB Script.
Responsible for regular client interactions for clarifications and status updates.
Project 2: Automated Attendance Report Generation for Human Resource Department; Client: SISL Bangalore, India; Location: SISL Bangalore, India; Duration: December 2002- May 2003
Role: Project Member in Agile Methodology, User Acceptance Testing(UAT) - Application Development based on Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
The Project involved development of a Tool to be used by the HR for recording the entry and exit time of an employee in the Office on a daily basis and generating an Attendance Report for a specified period highlighting the different exceptions as specified by the HR policy. An option also existed for sending automatic e-mails with the Report as an attachment to the respective employee along with the HR.
Solely responsible for the development and automation of tool for Attendance Reporting System for Human Resource Department for SISL Bangalore Office
Requirements gathering, software development in Visual Basic 6.0, database design in SQL server, testing, interaction with clients along with adherence to CMMi Level 5 quality procedures were some of the main responsibilities
System went Live on time and received appreciation from the client.
