Supervision of entire 1st shift production, employees & part quality, daily scheduling, conflict resolution, problem solving, inventory, production tally sheets, CMS reporting, disciplinary actions, production meeting reporting, tracking vacations, and continuous improvement, 5S, and Kaizen implementation, and GM or Ford Launch meetings.
Supervise a shift of Seventy-five to Eighty employees and assist meeting production requirements by ensuring that the proper quantity and quality of parts are being finished and standards maintained.
To ensure that employees are properly trained and documented in the WITS system.
To comply with, and have subordinates comply with TS, ISO, TPS, Lean and 5-S requirements and procedures and schedules.
Ensuring that employees have sufficient job training and information to efficiently perform their tasks in terms of quality, quantity and scrap with frequently follow-ups after initiation.
Participate in the team effort of the quality department and engineering staff to maintain a smooth flow of production parts of the highest quality and to report any equipment malfunction immediately to the Maintenance Department.
