WORK SUMMARY Worked with ALCATEL LUCENT and HUAWEI TECHNOLOGIES in Radio Optimization Department .I have a working experience of over two years and eight months in RF Optimization.

RF KPI OPTIMIZATION

AND

TROUBLESHOOTING

• Sending daily alerter to customer with complete recommendation on daily basis stats.

• Separating those cells which having RTC and BSS Internal drops and send them to OMCR for rectification.

• Coordinating with RNE teams to resolve issues, such as handover failures, frequency Interference, and Sector swap.

• Analysis of RF issues (DCR, CSSR, HSR, SD & TCH Blocking, UL/DL Quality index, HO distribution etc) in Cluster and submits recommendation to resolve issues.

• Concentric cell parameter tuning to enhance DCS traffic, minimizing CDR and HSR.

• Escalating BSS & Transmission drops, Faulty TRXs, Zero traffic cells and UL interference for assigned BSCs to concerned departments.

• Weekly idle band interference report.

• Concentric cell parameter tuning.

• Traffic balancing between DCS & GSM by multiband parameter tuning and traffic handovers.

• Generate WO daily for parametric changes and for worst cells which are the output of daily alerter analysis.

• Keeping track and follow up with FOPS of all low efficient and faulty TRXs.

• Keep tracking of WO generated and updated them in WO tracking sheet daily.

• Weekly activities involve analysis of most degraded cluster/city cells.

• Handling corporate customers’ complaints and carry out on spot optimization if required.

• Post processing the drive test data using ACTIX & MAPINFO Optimization Tool

• KPI analysis. External interference hunting in suspicious areas through spectrum analyzer and reporting concerned department for legal action.

• RF KPI benchmarking of cutover, newly re homed and migrated sites.

FIELD WORK

• Conducted Radio Network field testing (Drive testing) for FAT (CMPAK PHASE II) and PAT sites using TEMS INVESTIGATION 8.0.3,8.1

• Carried out EDGE/GPRS drive tests for new sites.

• Area Drive Testing, Short Call Sequence and Long Call, Scanning, Lock mode, Normal mode.

• Logs analyzing drop calls, blocked call, HO failure, through (Layer 3 messages) using TEMS Investigations Tool.

• Coordinating all Drive Testing activities and routes definitions.

• Analyzing drive test measurements to detect Problems and recommend changes to fix those problems

• Compiling RCF, Telemate and Cell file for Optimization team.

• Successfully provide complete RNO support through Drive Testing and KPIs monitoring.

• Carrying out technical site survey (TSS) and creating TSSR (CMPAK PHASE 3).

• Identifying Causes of external RF Interference, through spectrum analyzer (ANTUSA Spectrum analyzer).

• Identifying causes of poor coverage, and made recommendations about the orientation changes (azimuth changes), electrical and mechanical tilts changes or antenna heights etc.

• Performing Drive tests and monitoring BSC performance KPI’s after migration from B10 to B11.

AND REPORTING

• Prepared DCS expansion reports, analyzed the log files from the conducted

Drive tests. Identified problems were mentioned in global drive test reports.

• Analyzing KPI’s such as call setup success rate CSSR, handover success rate HSR, drop call ratio DCR, TCH Blocking, SDCCH blocking etc. on cells & BSS levels.

• Optimizing neighbor lists of all cells in assigned BSCs.

• Fine tuning and audits of Frequency & Neighbor Plan.

• Improving and maintaining the Call Setup Success Rate, Handover Success Rate, Drop Call Rate, and CS TCH & SDCCH Blocking to the desired threshold using different optimization techniques like Half Rate / Full Rate Traffic Balancing, Multi-band traffic distribution, Neighbor Cleaning, SDCCH / TCH Balancing, Frequency Planning and by removing the database discrepancies.
