Resources Academy and a 6 week training
course in facilitation.
CAREER HISTORY
Court Appointed Special Advocate Consultant.
CASA, 2009 to Present. Volunteer advocate
for abused and neglected children.
Attend hearings and family support meetings.
Advocate for special programs, represent
the interest of children in an ad litem
relationship. Complete office special projects.
Project Manager. City of Kansas City, 2005 to
2009. Selected to manage tax division project
for Finance Department, increasing efficiencies
through process improvement. Established lock
box system and tax return scanning
process for bank vendor. Oversaw tax revenue
e-filing initiative, trained staff and end-
users and provided tech support.
Senior Analyst. City of Kansas City, 1996 to
2005. Oversaw enforcement, audit and business
license sections of the Revenue Division.
Reviewed and resolved outstanding legal
issues, and responded to taxpayer complaints.
Managed Revenue Division's Document Management
System project. Managed 7 supervisors and 33
customer service professionals.
Additional: I enjoy traveling, reading,
exercise, college basketball, movies, spending
time with my family, and dancing.
