Discharge permitting and project management. Advise clients on state and federal air and water quality compliance. Inspect client facilities and consult on operational functions for improved compliance and reporting. Prepare point and nonpoint permit applications, amendments, and associated public interaction programs. Provide compliance training and environmental management systems. Advise clients on proper responses and represent clients' interests to agency Notices of Violation and third-party Notice of Intent to Sue. Maintained State and Federal air emission and wastewater discharge permits, authorizations, and mandatory reporting for 28 land-based and offshore facilities in Alaska, Oregon and Washington (NPDES, APDES, AQOP, ACDP). Directed facility spill preparedness and response (FRP, PSMP, SPCC, Tier II). Conducted media interviews and prepared press releases and other public communications. Attended hearings, led public outreach programs, and represented the Corporation in regards to facility-specific operations, accidents, and circumstantial incidents.

Worked successfully with other state departments and legislators in reviewing and drafting regional and statewide environmental regulation. • Conducted numerous air emission, water quality, and food safety compliance inspections at various remote industry and public facilities.

• Conducted oil spill prevention, contingency, response, and cleanup drills with industry, municipal, and public sector response teams.

• Coordinated and collaborated with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, NOAA, EPA, and the Army Corps of Engineers on matters of survey, assessment, response, remediation, and enforcement.
